Principal's Message
Jefferson Families:
We are so excited to have you return to another outstanding school year. As your principal in the last five years, we have shown growth and excellence with our district and state academics and extracurricular activities. Our school has recently been awarded 2024 Model PLC at Work by Solution Tree. Our school was featured on Univision, for the outstanding work we have been doing as a Community School. We recently presented at the Community Schools Summit at the state level highlighting our unique practices that have been shared and replicated across the county. Jefferson is also the first elementary school in Sanger who has brought AVID to our site with a purpose of preparing and equipping our students to be college and career ready. Through the years, we have partnered with Stanford and CaEd Partners to implement amazing programs to bring to our school site. In the last few years, we have won a district championship with girls basketball, won the district showcase two years in a row, and was voted one of the top schools for having the best staff by Yard Lee. Similarly, our site has been utilizing funds to provide extra support with intervention in reading and math, during and after school. Jefferson has been a model school for many others to learn from. Our students take pride in their academics and show ROARS (Responsibility, On-Task, Achievement, Respect, and Self-Control) everywhere they go. It has been a great honor to be your child’s principal.
